THE BEGINNING

 

I first fell in love with the breed around 1983 when I saw my first bully, it was love at first sight. As I was only eight years old, I was to young to own my own. In 1988 when bully's were popular, I brought my first bully bitch named Nell, then a dog named Bully. Both of them didn't have papers but were great members of our family.

In 1989 I got my first papered bitch named Abrany Apparation (Susie). She sadly had to be desexed, but she lived till she was 15 years old.

As I wanted to breed I went to Dewilla bull terriers and got Dewilla Texas Rose (Bandit). I bred her to Dewilla Ima Gunfigter. I kept a white bitch Jobetty snow white (Cash) and I also kept her litter sister Binnie. I also ended up keeping my niece's bully Missigai Mollissima (Dixie1). When they all passed over I decided I wanted to show and breed again, as the show ring was new to me.

I went to Judy Clifford at Bekmar bull terriers which I can't thank enough and got a dog Bekmar Mark Hunter (Bully 2) and I also brought home Bekmar Mel C (Mel). This is the line which I decieded to start from, Bekmar Mel C and Bulroarus Roman Candle.

We now have two bully's in the show ring, Bekmar Huey Lewis (Frait) who is clicking up his points and will soon have his title. We also have Ch. Bulroarus Do or Die who is now on her way to a Grand title. A big thank you to Tony Wiseman for letting us have this beautiful girl. We show our dogs in all breed and specialty show's. A big thank you to Paulene, Nikki and Anthony Zullo at Bullacktiv Bullterriers for their help in training for the show ring.

We should be having our first litter under Chopsbullis by April 2014. All our dogs are hereditary disease tested.   We breed for correct type, soundness and temperament. We aim for our bully's to be large but in proportion to size. We are registered breeders and we aim for quality not quantity. Our Bully's are first and foremost part of the family.
